Hello all! I would like to introduce you to my newest landscape painting titled "Jemez Fog" a big thank you to Terrance Haanen for allowing me to paint his lovely photo of the mountains that so nicely frame our little town.

Piece description:
As a thick fog drifts in, the distant Jemez mountains fade into a looming presence outlined by their sheer mass and shape. The fog weaves in and out of the Ponderosa pine trees creating silhouettes of varying colors as it frosts the thin needles. A cold silence percolates the air as the entire environment seems to welcome you to observe and appreciate its beauty in a moment of thoughtful peace. No matter who you are, where you came from or what’s in your past, you are here now with a new breath in your lungs.
