This piece deals with the act of searching. As humans it is our natural instinct to search whether it is for love, power, renown, knowledge or meaning. There is an excess of external stimuli in our modern society so it is tempting to look for these things outside ourselves. We will blindly look anywhere but inside ourselves for meaning in our lives. Many of us search for other things to help define ourselves in this way we try to piece together an identity rather than listening to our true thoughts.
