Rain Squall
This piece was significant step in my abstract technique because it stuck a balance between simple and complex. The ambiguity of the environment allows for viewer imagination and appreciation of simplicity. In my childhood I was inspired by the ocean with its powerful waves and currents and its ever changing color. Now that I am living in Colorado I also have much appreciate for simple and dynamic landscapes that have hills, valleys and mountains. This piece is a combination of both of these environments in a way this is subtle yet rich in depth and texture.
