Cloaked

This piece illustrates humanities connection to nature and how it is engrained into our identity. Our separation from nature is only as big as we make it. This piece was inspired by the concept of a person being cloaked and immersed in earth. The feeling of isolation is key in this piece because it is suggested by the figure's pose but then contradicted by the surrounding nature and dynamic sky. The collage style of this piece allows for many different elements to be represented but then meld together to create a cohesive image.
