This drawing is an interpretation of a self portrait focusing on the concepts of acceptance and transition. The curved lines origination from the moon is the text of a poem that focuses on these concepts.

The Bug
This drawing was the result of an idea to merge an actual beetle with the Volkswagen beetle. This piece required creativity and an understanding of both elements in order to merge them.

Sugarcane Factory
This drawing was mean to explore the relationship between nature and technology by showing how we use our industrial advances to process and manipulate nature. By illustrating an older example of this (a sugarcane factory) the viewer can immediately understand how much further we have gone when is comes to processing nature.

Reunion
This personal piece was an outlet for emotions surrounding the death of a close relative. Towards the end of their life, this family member spoke about reuniting with their life partner who had passed away years prior. This is my illustration of that reunion.
